Quarter 3: Week 2: Tuesday: 2 Sam. 12: 13-25:
David went to Nathan telling him he sinned and all. Nathan told him he wasn't going to die, because he was forgiven by the Lord, but that his son must die. After he left the child David had with Uriah's wife had become sick. For days David refused to eat or get up. On the seventh day of his sickness, his child died, but his servants didn't want to tell him because they feared he might do something desprate. They finally told him, and he finally got up from the ground and went to eat, and he also began to worship God. David relized his tears and fasting wouldn't bringing his son back. Later he and his wife had another son named Solomon. When David asked for God's forgiveness he felt closer and had comfort. That's how I feel when the Lord forgivess me. I feel as though a weight of sin and burden has been lifed. Sure, I'm going to have bumps along the road, but doesn't everyone? Having God forgivessness just means I won't have to go through it all alone.
