Quarter 2: Week 6: Monday: Judges 15: 1-20:

               Quarter 2: Week 6: Monday: Judges 15: 1-20:
Samson got a goat and went to his wife's house, and when he went to her bedroom door her father wouldn't let him in. The father said he thought he hated her, and that her little sister is more attracted, and he should go for her. When the father still wouldn't let him in, he got foxes and tied them tail and tail together. He put a torch in their tails, and sent them lose and burned their grain. When they found out who he was they burned his future wife and husband, and he replied with more revenge. He went to war with them and killed many. The people of Judah came to take him back to the Philistines. Mistakes hardly ever correct themselves, unless you correct them yourself. Like not writing your name on the right place on a paper. I always messed that up, but Mrs. Perkins points it out to help me.

Quarter 2: Week 5: Friday: Judges 14:1-20:

                        Quarter 2: Week 5: Friday: Judges 14:1-20:
(sorry it is late, i forgot to post it)

Samson saw a Philistine woman in Timnah and wants his parents to get her as a wife for him. His parents ask if there is anyone else he wants to marry, anyone they know or are related to. But Samson only replied that she was the woman for him. When he and his parents went down to Timnah Samson went to the vineyard. In the vineyards there was a lion and the spirt of the Lord came on him and he tore the lion up, but didn't tell his parents. He got to know the girl and loved her. On his way to his parents he came to the dead lion saw bees and honey around it, and he grabed the honey and ate it. He gave some honey to his parents, but didnt tell them where he got it from. He gave them a riddle and seven days to find it out. He told his wife, she told the people, and they got it. When Samson left his wife was given to someone else.Wisdom from my parents is a good thing. They know what they are saying, most of the time, becase they learned from their parents, who learned from their parents, and so on. When my parents give me wisdom I try my best to listen.

Quarter 2: Week 5: Thursday: Judges 13: 1-25

              Quarter 2: Week 5: Thursday: Judges 13: 1-25:
Yet again the Israelites did evil, since they haven't learned yet, so the Lord gave them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years. Forty years! A man named Manoah has a wife who is childless, and an angel of the Lord appears before her. The angel tells her not to drink alcohol of such, for she will become pregnant, and the child is not to cut his hair. She had a son that she named Samson, and as he grew God blessed him. At first Manoah didn't think an angel of the Lord really came before his wife. When he sent the offering, he then knew. In my discipline I think I need help most with obeying my mom like I should. Sometimes I can be mean to her, but I love her.

Quarter 2: Week 5: Wednesday: Judges 7:1-25:

            Quarter 2: Week 5: Wednesday: Judges 7:1-25:
Early in the morning Gideon and all his men camped near the spring of Harod. God told him they have too many men, and with so many men they can't over take Midian. He told Gideon to say if anyone is in fear, they may leave, and twenty two thousand left, with ten thousand at the remains. He again tells him there are too many men, and that He will say who stays and who goes. After that there was only three hundred men left. Gideon tells everyone to follow his lead, and they did and over took them. I need to help in trusting God with my future. If I worry about my future, and not give it to God, then God won't do anything with it.

Quarter 2: Week 5: Tuesday: Judges 6:1-40:

      Quarter 2: Week 5: Tuesday: Judges 6:1-40:
It says that the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, so He gave them into the hands of the Midianites. Whenever the Israelites planted crops, they where invaded, and they began to cry out to the Lord. The Lord sends a prophet and he tells them what Gods says, which is, that He brought you out of Egypt, and you still have not listened to me. God sent an angel to Gideon, and the angel told him to fear not mighty warrior, for the Lord is with you. He asks if the Lord is with us, then why has he done this, and the angel replied by saying, that he can go save Israel. Examples of obedience in my life is the way I listen to my teachers. Ever since  was little, I was scared to get in trouble. Which proves my obedience in that area of my life.

Quarter 2: Week 5: Monday: Judges 4:4-24:

    Quarter 2: Week 5: Monday: Judges 4:4-24:
God told Deborah, who was leading Israel at the time, to go to the top of the mountain and the land would be theirs. She got the ten thousand men like God told her, along with her husband. They go nine hundred charriots made of iron, and  Deborah said go. She said go because she also said this was the day the Lord has made. A man went into a womans tent and told him who he was looking for was dead. There are many ways to show people you care about them.  You can show God you care about Him by respecting Him and His creations. You can show your teachers you care for them by following the rules. You can even show your parents you care, by hugging, thanking them, and getting good grades.

Quarter 2: Week 4: Friday: Joshua 24:1-31:

                Quarter 2: Week 4: Friday: Joshua 24:1-31:

Joshua summoned all the people, and the elders, to tell them of how God promised their ancestors the land of Canaan.God spoke threw him and reminded them of Moses and Aaron. He reminds them of the land he gave them, and how they won every battle they let God help them with. He reminds them of how they lost every battle they did NOT include God in. He reminds them of splitting the red sea, and coming threw the Jordan. He tells them to fear the Lord threw faithfulness. He tells them to throw away the God you and your ancestors worshiped, and tells them to chose to this day who you will serve. They reply by telling him they will not forsake God, but serve him all the days of their lives. He tells them you are witnesses to yourselves for taking God.Then Joshua dismissed the people died and they burried him. I can get hope from history that we will one day join the Lord. In history Jesus said He will one day return, and threw history many have keep their faith in that. I can keep my hope that one day my pain will be gone.

Quarter 2: Week 4: Thursday: Joshua 23:1-16

               Quarter 2: Week 4: Thursday: Joshua 23:1-16:

God has let them rest from their enemies, and now Joshua is a very old man. He summons Israel to tell them that it was He, your God, who found you, don't forget that. He tells them of the miracles God has done, that God is with them, and they need to be strong. He tells them that to this day no one has been able to with stand them. He reminds them that not one of God's promises have failed. He finishes by telling them if they break the Lord's covenant, then they will surly die. The warning I need to obey is to not go against the covenant. I always break number 5, honor thy father and mother. I think I should work on that one.....allot!

Quarter 2: Week 4: Wednesday:Joshua 10:1-15

   Quarter 2: Week 4: Wednesday: Joshua 10:1-15:

They are going to attack  Gibeon. With God's help they over threw them, and won. They took them by suprise. The sun came out in the middle of the sky. Joshua said that there had never been a day like that again. So they went back to  Gibeon, and camped there for the night. Letting them over take  Gibeon, showed God's power. God showed his power to the Israelites many many many many times. I know God is powerfull through His crteations. When I look around and see all He has created, I see his strength, power, and love over us.

Quarter 2: Week 4: Tuesday: Joshua 7:1-26:

              Quarter 2: Week 4: Tuesday: Joshua 7:1-26

Joshua is telling some men to go spy on Ali. They came back and told Joshua he doesn't need to worry about the war, but only send a few thousand men to fight. Ali killed about thirty six of them and sent them back out. After this Joshua began to cry out to the Lord asking why he saved them just to gets them killed by the Alis. He tells him to stand up, for the Israelites have sinned, and He tells him to tell the Israelites they can't move until the sin is gone from the camp. When he finds the people who sinned he tells them to confess what they have done and they tell him they stole the silver, robe, and gold. He told them they where in his tent hidden. After this the Israelites stoned them, and burned their remains. When I was little I stole a pack of gum from my friend, lol, and when she found it was missing I told her I didn't know where it was. She found it in my bag, and we never talked since. I know it is stupid, but that was one bad consequence of one silly little action.

Quarter 2: Week 4: Monday: Joshua 5:13- 6:27

                     Quarter 2: Week 4: Monday: Joshua 5:13- 6:27

Someone came to Joshua and Joshua asked them if they where for them or the enemy and the man save neither. He said he had come because he was in the army of the Lord. He told Joshua to take of his shoes, because he was only Holy ground, adn he did so. The Lord is telling Joshua to march around Jericho, and giving him details at what to do and how to do it, including he must march around it for six days, once each day. Joshua tells them not to sing a war cry and not to shout till the day he tells them to shout. On the last day, on the last time around the city he tells them to shout for the Lord has victory. When they began to shout, the walls started to come down. They saved the lasy and her family that they promised to save, then burrned the city down. I think it would be the most amazing thing to go back and see the walls of Jericho fall to the ground, and have the reasurence that God is with you. In fact, if I could go back in time I would like to go back and see this happen. When I think God needs to use me I get serious. I like to think God has something important for me to do, and He does, and when I find out what it is, I will be serious about it.
