Quarter 3: Week 8: Friday: Job 38:1-41

Finally the Lord spoke to Job out of a storm. Saying that he should brace himself, for the Lord will ask questions and he shall answer. He started listing all the things He had done and created for Job and everyone else that lives on the earth. From creating us to light. Also saying who provides the food for such people and animals that live upon the earth. Everything around the earth reminds me of God's greatness. The fact that God knew how far to put the earth from the sun. The thing that reminds me of God's greatness are the flowers. The beauty of them show God's love for us and all the other things on the earth.

Quarter 3: Week 8: Thursday: Job 2:1-13

The Satan come upon the Lord again and the Lord asked where he had been. He replied that he had roamed the earth once more again. Satan told him that man are selfish kind, and he would do all he can to save his own skin. With that he left the Lord's presence. So the Devil struck Job with painful sores from head to toe. His wife came to him and said that he should just curse God and die. Job denied that he would curse or sin against God once more. None of his friends said anything about him, because of how great the pain was upon him. Sometimes I just try to ignore other people's pain, because it's hard to watch others in pain. Especially the ones that are far off and I know I'm un able to help. Even though I don't like seeing people in pain, I should have more sympathy and try my hardest to help.

Quarter 3: Week 8: Wednesday: Job 1:1-22

Job lived in the land of Uz, worshipped God, and did no evil. He had many children, and a ton of animals too. One day the Lord asked the Devil where he came from, and he replied saying he had been roaming the earth. Satan told the Lord that if He were to put His hands over Job's stuff, he would curse Him in the face. Then Satan left God's presence. While feasting someone came and told Job him the Lord's fire from heaven burned all the animals and servants. He was the only one who excapted to tell him such that happened. Once again two more servants came with as such bad news. Instead of cursing God, he got on his knees and prayed. Sometimes I question God's care when bad things happen. Like when I get f's in Science and Spainish. Which I shouldn't blame God when I'm the one who did not study. We should all look up to Job because instead of blaming God for all the bad things that happened to him, he just praised God. That is something I wish I could say I do when bad things happen in my life.

Quarter 3: Week 8: Tuesday: Esther 6:1-7:

The king felt as though he couldn't sleep, so he ordered his book which keept record of his rein to be brought to him at once. Meanwhile on the outside of his room, two guards went off planing to kill the king. The king summoned in the man who was in his inner courts, and it turned out to be Haman. The king asked what does a man of such honor as Haman need. It is always a helpful thing to remeber God is in control of the world in any situation. The Devil may think he's winning, but God is and always will.

Quarter 3: Week 8: Monday: Esther 5:1-14 :

Esther went and in her royal robes and stood in the inner court, in the king's hall. The king asked what she wanted, he said he would give it to her no matter what. Even half the kingdom. She asked of him and Haman to go to the banquet. So the king summoned Haman so they may feast at once. As they drank wine Esther invited Haman to the banquet, along with the king, so they may chat. Haman was happy and bubbly till he came and saw Mordecai up at the king's gate and all. So he became a jerk, and left for home. He even went of bragging about his son's wealth and how he was invited in the King and Queen's presence. Since I'm so young I haven't hhad to do anythin scary for God yet. I' sureI will have to in the future though. I look forward to it in the future though.

Quarter 3: Week 7: Friday: Esther 4:1-17

As soon as Mordecai learned what had happend to the city he tore his clothes. He went off and mourned for all the lost. When the Queen heard of what had happend she sent clothes of for Mordecai. She sent someone off to see what was wrong with him, and why he was acting in such manner. When the peson went Mordecai told him all that was wrong with him. Mordecai was told to go off and get the Jews, and they were to not eat or drink anything for three days. So he did such as he was told. I've shown my faith by following the Lord and doing things through Christ. I don't always do things through Christ, so I have to work on that and such.

Quarter 3: Week 7: Thursday:Esther 3:1-5

The king gave Haman a higher noblity than all the other nobles. The king ordered him to bow down and kneel, but he wouldn't. He was asked why wouldn't he bow down, and he replied saying he was a Jew. He was told to bow down again, but again would not. Which enraged the king once more. Sometimes I'm tempted to compromise televition. Sometimes I won't give up the shows that I shouldn't watch. Which I really need to work on.

Quarter 3: Week 7: Wednesday: Esther 2:1-23:

The king made search through the land for a young beautiful virgin. If they found one who pleases the king she would take place of the queen. Sadly, the king agreed to such ideas. Many many young ladies were sent to the palace. Before any lady could go see the king, they had to go through twelve months of beauty treaments. They couldn't return to the king unless he was pleased or he summonded her. When it was Esther's turn, everyone was pleased with her and the king welcomed her in his seventh year of reign. She became the queen and the previous queen was voted off. When my great grandmother died it later taught me to be stronger in God and to pray and love Him more.

Quarter 3: Week 7: Tuesday: Esther 1:1-22:

                   Quarter 3: Week 7: Tuesday: Esther 1:1-22:
On Xerxes third year has king he held a banquet. For like one hundred days he would show of his wealth and what not. When he got drunk on wine he wanted the Queen to come over to show off her beauty. But she refused, which made the king uber mad. His consultents agreed the Queen had done wrong. Also that her disobedence would have no end. So he proclaimed throughout the land that all wives must listen and obey their husbands, basiclly be their little puppets. Xerxes took his wife for granted, and I tend to take my parents for granted. When I go off to college I won't have their full help and will be on my own.

Quarter 3: Week 7: Monday: Nehemiah 8:1-18 :

             Quarter 3: Week 7: Monday: Nehemiah 8:1-18 :
All the people came together to hear Ezar say the Lord's laws that He gave to Moses. He was standing were everyone could see him and he opend the book and started praising the Lord. They all followed his example and got on the ground to praise the Lord. They began reading clearly so the people could understand what they were talking about. Nehemiah told them to go greeve the Holy Sprit, because He was their strength. They went of eating and celebrating becuase they would understand the word of God. So days and days Ezra would read the word of God to the people. When I read God's word sometimes I expect a word to just pop out at me, which I shouldn't do. I should get a reading plan together for everynight.

Quarter 3: Week 6: Friday: Nehemiah 5:1-19 :

                 Quarter 3: Week 6: Friday: Nehemiah 5:1-19 :
Many were saying they need grain, but others said they were draing their land by trying to get grain during the famine. They all had to borrow money just to pay the tax's of the King on their lands and such. Their sons and daughter had to sold to slavery to pay off debt and taxes. Nehemiah said what he was doing was wrong and that he should walk in the fearof the Lord. They gave back all the people and promised they wouldn't do that any more. So he became governor of Judah and did good for the people. I really don't help out the poor as much as I should. I try giving money when I can, but that doens't happen that often as I wish it would.

Quarter 3: Week 6: Thursday: Nehemiah 2:1-20:

              Quarter 3: Week 6: Thursday: Nehemiah 2:1-20:
He brought wine to King Artaxerxes and Artaxerxes saw Nehemiah was unhappy. He knew it couldn't be becuase he was ill, but because of his sad heart. He praied to the Lord so he would know what to say to he king, and he said he wanted to go and rebuild the city of Judah. He stayed in Jerusalem for three days, then he went out in the night with some other people. He went to the gate, which and been burned and broken down. He told them to look at how the city laid in ruins and that they all needed to rebuild it. So they all got started right away at rebuilding it. Relationships in my life that need to be rebuilt are ones with my old friends. I haven't seen them in about a year, and haven't talked to them since, like, the summer. I really miss them and hope I can see them again soon.
